![]() Josie: I loved this runway theme but some of the outfits just fell flat. The judges loved Divina, Blu, and Crystal's looks but didn't appreciate Baga and Sum Ting's runway presentations. This week's runway was – erm – varied, with queens showcasing their best body-modification drag. Tom: The other queens turning away Sum Ting Wong from her Nigella Lawson character (a sure success) was shade incarnate. I really loved how she vibed off of The Vivienne! Josie: This is my first ever Snatch Game experience and I was not disappointed! Baga Chipz deserves a special mention for her portrayal of Maggie Thatcher (extra points for the red contact lenses). ![]() This was her first sign of weakness in the whole series and I’m pretty bummed about it. She did every single Trump-ism naturally and flawlessly, from The Wall to Trump’s other infamous quote that I won’t put into writing – I’m still not over it! Crystal was such a disappointment. Jeff: To say I was impressed by The Vivienne would be an understatement. Expectations are high, girls – don't f*ck it up! Tom: I think we've ALL been looking forward to this one – the UK lot stepping up to the oft-failed beast that is the SNATCH GAME. RuPaul agreed her effort was outstanding and kept Dede safe for another week, another sad goodbye seeing Vicki sashay away. The queens took on a multitude of famous faces to answer questions from RuPaul and make us laugh out loud in the Snatch Game! It’s entertaining, show-worthy, and what you want from a drag show, with her second time at the bottom and against a strong competitor it’s like she knew her time was up. The routine she gives is one she has been wanting to show for a while. Unfortunately, landing in the bottom is Vicki and Dede left to lipsync it out to ‘Heartbreak on Hold’ by Alexandra Burke.Īlthough lacking in a substantial outfit Dede more than makes up for the performance as she proceeds to lipsync for her life. Snatch game has proved a strong and competitive week for the queens this week, both in performance and making a tricky decision for who’s to leave this week. Likewise, Ru sings her praises in the feedback declaring her the winner of this week’s challenge, earning her well-deserved second badge in two consecutive weeks. One could describe her as a dark horse coming out and dominating the competition. Each episode has gone on to showcase so much talent, wonderful looks, and top-notch advice. One thing that is noticeable and wonderful to watch is Ginger Johnson coming into her own and blooming this season. ![]() It was borderline 1920s sailor while it was cute, it just didn’t meet the brief and was perceived more like a fun fancy dress party. Alongside her – and it breaks my heart – but Kate Butch’s outfit was baffling. On the other end, Dede’s outfit was unflattering to her shape, admitting she’d stuck a bunch of hearts to her corset, making it a little messy. As usual, Tomara nails the runway every week looking every inch like a glamour model she’s always someone who catches the attention due to her concepts and execution. I loved everyone’s interpretation, all were well conceptualized but for me, Vicki stood out with her well-fitting velvet jumpsuit, and Michael Marouli took a approach with a black heart locked up in chains. The brief for this runway was met above and beyond. Joining the main runway for the theme Heart Ons is Alexandra Burke. Who was your fav? #DragRaceUK #iPlayer /9y1KhC圜3y- RuPaul's Drag Race UK November 6, 2023 As no one truly bombs the game it feels as if it’s down to the least funny who make no real impact with the jokes which Dedelicous as Lady C and Vicki Vivacious as Fanny Cradock fall into that category. It makes no sense but it gets the laughs from the one person you want them from. Once you make him laugh with some outlandish gimmick, one does not stop. This may be due to Ru asking her to do one in his walk round, which got him in his classic fit of hysterical laughter. Doubtfire with a reoccurring Southern accent. Kate Butch gets some strong laughs, as does Ginger Johnson as Dame Barabra Cartland, and Tara Thomas plays Robin Williams as Mrs. The game itself is a success and there are plenty more hits than misses where no one steals the show it’s more of a well-shared distribution of comedy. Seeing special guests have fun heightens the watch as a viewer especially when you know how loved they are in the UK. A very fun pair who add the fun and camp that the snatch game requires. Joining the snatch game panel this week are two iconic queens of TV and the West End Carol Vorderman and Alexandra Burke. The Snatch Game pressure is on!
